Raptors vs. Bucks: Jamal Shead puts on a masterclass

Steady Sheady.

The Raptors pulled out a gutsy win without Kawhi Leonard, Scottie Barnes or Immanuel Quickley in their second NBA Cup game in Milwaukee versus the Bucks.

Jamal Shead put up a career-high 16 assists, dishing and diming everywhere to propel the Raptors offense. His playmaking was buoyed by an incredible scoring performance from former two-way guard Alijah Martin, who poured in 27 points and knocked down 6 threes.

RJ Barrett added 27 of his own. Jakob Poeltl and Collin Murray-Boyles also had their best games of the season and the Raptors pulled off a comeback win.

It was huge, but it started with a masterclass from Shead.

In this video, I broke down just how Shead carved up the Bucks, got Poeltl and CMB in rhythm, and helped lead Martin to the best game of his career.
