Kawhi Leonard makes life easier in Raptors debut

Like finding water in the desert.

It only took 16 minutes of action for Kawhi Leonard to pour in 21 points, made 4 threes, grab 5 rebounds and nab two steals for the Raptors in his debut in Toronto. Everything was easy. No movement was wasted and the Raptors dominated the New York (Westchester) Knicks.

Things were clicking on all cylinders for this team, facing a Knicks group that didn’t have any of its defending champion rotation in Toronto, save for Deuce McBride. Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, and Kawhi proved too much to handle from the get-go, and the Raptors sailed to an easy win.

Allen Graves also made his debut and while the rookie got in foul trouble, he showed off his intensity and hands on defense and wasn’t shy at all about shooting the ball.

Collin Murray-Boyles was also stellar, adding 19 points and 9 rebounds, along with 2 threes.

Check out the latest recap, breaking down how Leonard’s presence impacts the Raptors on both offense and defense, and investigating just how much better they can be.
