Raptors pick Allen Graves with 19th pick in 2026 NBA Draft

The Raps prioritize shooting at 19

The Toronto Raptors have selected Allen Graves with the 19th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

A redshirt freshman at Santa Clara, he averaged 11.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists, while also putting up 1.9 steals and 0.9 blocks in 35 games. In terms of measurements, he came in at 6-foot-9 inches tall, weighed 226 pounds, and had a 7-foot wingspan.

With the Santa Clara Broncos, Graves played more of a 3&D role, shooting 41.3% from three and 51.2% from the field. He didn’t start much this season (4 games), coming off the bench for most of his time with the Broncos. On the contrary, he was 4th on the team in minutes played.

Although this pick comes as a bit of a surprise, it fills a big need that plagued the Raps this season: shooting. His 3&D style of play fills a hole that has been noticeable since OG Anunoby was traded to the Knicks. As our own Brendan Stewart pointed out, he had a defensive usage rate of 30% with a steal rate (4.9%) within the 100th percentile. Plus, if his shooting percentages can translate over from the NCAA, I believe he will be a great fit with the Raps.
