Before we start: Don’t. Forget. Other. Stuff. This week on The Doctor Is In, we look one last time at the Bosh vs. Bargnani debate in the hopes of bringing about a lasting peace in the Republic and suggest that they could be the best frontcourt in the NBA. In hot or not we look at former national junior college player of the year and Arkansas Razorback Alumni Sonny Weems, and in the internet’s most popular home game would you make this deal we wonder what a Bosh-Durant combo might look like in challenging the Lakers out west. I have mentioned the big man coach for AB few month ago here as well. I am actually suprised that Raptors pick him as a 1st pick, planing to give him 50 Mill for next 5 years and then DO NOT want to spent the money to develop this guy.
Bottom line, if you want to increase AB’s productivity, you NEED to hire a guy like Divac or … ( Like many other team in the NBA are doing for their big man).
If I’m dealing with OKC, I would want Harden included in that trade. The cap space from Thomas’ expiring contract wont be used properly, might as well get some good talent.

Well, if Bosh leaves, maybe that is the cue for Bargs to step it up. There is hope for Bargs yet. If he can move his game in around the elbows and add a slight fade to his shot, then maybe he can be our next Dirk when Bosh leaves??? I know, I know, it would be nice though, eh? But in the beginning, I found it interesting to note that Dirk’s primary role in the beginning was what Bargnani’s is now – stand at the three, spread the floor.
Interesting thoughts about the Bosh-Bargnani debate, although like you, I don’t even know why they get compared. A big man coach is a great idea for Bargs, but I’d really love to see both Bosh and Bargnani remain Raptors together.
The McGrady-Carter comparison to Bosh and Bargnani is a great call. As disappointing as this season has been, I truly believe we do have something special in Bosh and Bargnani up front.
Trade — definitely not. No interest.
A non All-Star + low lottery pick (at best) + a high teens/late 20s first round pick. That’s horrible value for an All-NBA talent.
And, that trade package will be as good as, if not better, than the package Oklahoma will try to offer Colangelo this summer if they pursue Bosh in a sign and trade.
