Now I am not saying this to make excuses for the other guys on roster other than Johhson, However Johnson was a track star in high school; both long and short distances.  Look at his frame and when you combine that with his running success in high school, it seems fairly clear to me that Johnson in some ways is an unusual physical specimen for an NBA player.  He is not just quick and fast but he can run forever.

Having mentioned that piece of trivia the above is no excuse for the other 11 guys not being able to bring a lot more energy than they have been bringing is the 2nd game of back to backs.</description>
