verbatim says: "Manu is everything we brought Turk in for. So, when can we see that kind of performance from Turk? "

Agree. Hedo has been invisible so far. I was really hoping we could snatch Rudy Fernandez from Blazers somehow. Hedo is a good player, but he may have very little left in his tank. For sure not worth the kind of money BC paid for him.

About team so far...
Humiliation against Dallas, and losses to Orlando & Spurs without key players? So far, not even close to what I hoped to see. One of the top 4 teams in the east? I certainly hope - but it does not look that way.

Turkoglu was supposed to be and do for the Raptors everything that Manu Ginobili did for San Antonio tonight. Where is Turk???

AND, I know we can't blame the refs when the Raps play like that on the defensive end, but there were some key plays were San Antonio got the benefit of the call, and on the opposite end, the jostling for rebounds and some suspect defence and fronting garnered no calls against San Antonio.

Disappointing loss. No way we can get up to 45 unless we prey on better teams that have their starters out. First the Magic, now this. Manu is everything we brought Turk in for. So, when can we see that kind of performance from Turk?

It's really early. That statement is said a lot but still not heard. If the Raptors had won that game in Memphis the fans would be going crazy with excitment over the 4-2 start with some tough game while "GELLING" which is the hotest new term in Raptorland. If we lost to the Cavs and were 2-4 the sky would be falling and we'd be talking about trading Bosh and relocating the team to Kansas City.

The moral of the story is you can't judged by if you can win in Memphis.

So the game goes on...If we win tonight we are challenging for the championship and if we lose....Another injury plaqued team manages to beat us proving we are not legit...What will it be....

Give me 15 games then I'll tell you what I think. Until then lets just relax and conseed that

1. The Suns aren't as good as they look and neither is Miami or Houston.
2. Portland and the Wizards aren't as bad as they look.
3. Everyone else is somewhere in between!

That depends: How good will everyone else be when they, too, are in mid-season form?

Anyone shocked by the Raptors inconsistency?

I'm surprised they've been able to start off this well.

Mostly its Bosh and Bargs carrying them for now but just how good can they be when the rest of the group gets up to mid-season form?

Did anybody notice that Nathan Jawai led the Timberwolves in scoring last night? A career-high 16 points.
