I'm happy some people are seeing the Bargnani pick as a stupid mistake. I also feel the same way too especially for a defensively deficient NBA centre. By the way, 2 PFs can be played together(Remember the Admiral(Robinson) and Tim Duncan winning the only championship ring for the Admiral, the Admiral had a PF's body, so yes 2 PFs can be played together for the guy that thought 2 PFs can't play together, by the way that defense under 2 PFs will be stifling, 2 low-post presence defenders, WOW, what more can I say?)

No we can't let it go because it was stupid much like your comments. In todays NBA you can get away withy playing 2 PF up front if both can play big. Aldridge is a much better fit because he can rebound like a PF and give you 8-10 a night. Bargnani rebounds like a SG. Your comments are uneducated and uninteresting.

You can always tell the dumbest person in the room by who constantly critiques other people's opinions but never offers their own.

I agree that complaining after the fact is pointless but if you would have honestly done it different at the time than you can say I told you so.

My point is we are trying to build a championship team here and no one especially BC will admit he made a huge mistake drafting a player number 1 who can't play at the same time as your franchise player.

Think about how much trouble Utah is having with the Boozer/Millsap problem and then think how bad they would look if they drafted Millsap 1st instead of 40th.

The Raptors need to trade Bosh or Bargnani. Anyone who thinks the Raptors can be an elite team with those 2 as your starting PF and C is crazy.

Digest that Michele you speed bag!!!!!!!!!

"The error was still drafting Bargnani because he doesn’t work with Bosh and if we had Aldridge or Roy we would be a contender right now!"

Alridge is a poor's man Bosh, so why would we have drafted an inferior copy of something we already had, and nobody would have drafted Roy number one. I'm so sick of people posting the same bull-shit comment year after year. Can we just let go?

All very true; failure at the start of the season will provide no answers.

However, SUCCESS right now would. Heck, if we played .500 basketball in the first half of the season I would consider that a major success. If we go 20-20 for the first half, I can see us going 25-17 to finish the season at 45-37.

Given how competitive the second tier of this conference will be, I can see 45 wins being enough for a 5th or maybe even a 4th seed.

Has a team ever created such widely divergent opinions as to how they'll do?

From 4th to 8th to out of the playoffs?
Bosh stays, Bosh goes, Bosh will be traded!
Bargs will get 19 & 7, Bargs hurts this team!
Underrated Calderon potential all-star year, Calderon can't guard his shadow.
Even Turkoglu veteran team leader, Turkoglu isn't better than Garbajosa.

Raptors are selling koolaid, Colangelo has rebuilt the team like in 2006.

Worst part is, the Raptors can go 2 & 8 to start, and we still won't have any answers.

I am scared. I think we are in for a rough start to the season not only because of the way we are looking but the schedule doesn'r help either. I have no doubt we will get a high level of performance from Bosh, Calderon and Hedo. They are top tier talent and have done it for years. Bargnani has looked good in my opinion. Its the riff raff of players on the bench that look brutal to me and I can't say I shocked.

The reality is that Bellineli and Johnson in paticular are not rotation guys on a playoff team. They weren't rotation players on non playoff teams last year! (Detriot barely amde it). Johnson was basically handed the starting job the last 2 years and couldn't keep it. Bellineli was in the perfect system for his trigger happy game and couldn't get minutes mind you GS is guard heavy.

These guys are not going to suddenly be solid players. Amir Johnson can't finish at all. He probably never will. To think it's a problem Triano can "fix" is crazy.

Rasho looks old. We need Evans back badly.

If we are going to be a + 500 team we will need a ROY type year from DeRozan or Calderon/Bargnani to get to All Star status. If they don't we are fighting for 8th.

One Last thought...Compare our roster to that of the Maimi Heat. Look at the talent we have compared to them! If Bosh can't get this team to the playoffs if healthy then do we want him? Am I the only one that doesn't think if we have to trade him we might not get that much worse and we might even be better in the long haul? Not ripping on Bosh as I think he's a top 10-15 player but he might not be the right guy for this team.

The error was still drafting Bargnani because he doesn't work with Bosh and if we had Aldridge or Roy we would be a contender right now!

Stupid pick. Not that he isn't a good player but the T'Wolves draft this year was no more retarded than that choice!
