I think the cake is in the oven and we all just have to wait and let this thing “bake and cool” already. So many people feel like we should be making another move to provide “the icicing” that will propel the Raptors deep into the playoffs. Lets just let the team gel and see what they can do with a full and healthy roster. Teams want to trade? Let ‘em eat Cake!

Hi everyone, I am QAF.

I have been reading this blog for a while and can tell that most of the posters here have played basketball at a high level and know what they are talking about.

I feel that the Raptors are going to win it all this year.

Bosh will stay in Toronto, and that decison will make Lebron James consider moving north of the border for a pay cut to win a ring. Canada is a great place to play basketball!

I can already see that Jay Triano has these guys playing as a TEAM.

With Biedrens and Jackson on the Raptors, I would predict reaching the second round in playoffs. The Raptor talent pool would be incredible..!!!

BC ain’t gonna give Bosh a max contract because that would cripple the team financially. Hedo, Jose and Bargs have long term contracts now, and to accomodate Bosh with a 6 year, $125+Million max contract would just not make sense financially and talent-wise. No max players on the Raptors … believe it.

BC is trying to build a team with character guys who can play ball. Jackson may have skills but he would become a cancer on this team. The Raps might not win the championship this year but they have made some significant moves towards it. Let’s win some games and be happy. Bosh isn’t going anywhere. He’ll be very happy with this years outcome. The man just wants to get paid.

This interesting tidbit from:

San Francisco Chronicle

Biedrins has heard his name in packages that would bring Chauncey Billups, Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire to the Warriors, but the 23-year-old center is still here. Still, stoically producing.

Would be nice to have Biedrins and Stephen Jackson on the Raptors, which would help advance their development into a contending team. The Bosh for Biedrens and Jackson trade would work financially.

It’s obvious no max money player would come to Toronto so might as well accept reality and build the team for the future.

Calderon/Jackson/Hedo/Bargnani/Biedrens …. a winner…!!!!
