Raptors interest at Reebok Eurocamp

The Reebok Eurocamp is a three day event which takes place each June in Treviso, Italy. One of the organizers of the camp is Michele Gherardini, son of Maurizio Gherardini. This year’s roster is supposed to be the best in five years and includes the following players. Brandon Jennings, who is still playing his season out in Europe, can’t attend many NBA workouts and is hoping that GMs come here to check him out and that’s one of the primary reasons this camp is getting some publicity. You know the Raptors will be keeping a close eye on this one.

    That line is going to haunt us come draft night. I can picture BC saying that the NCAA players are under developed and we had to draft a European because these guys play against real competition and are better players and are battle tested bla bla bla. It would not surprise me, since we have maurizio and his son on board, that we draft one of these guys on your list with our #9.

    Just for the record I do think BC will end up drafting one of these guys. But with a second round pick not our 9th. I don’t think he’s that stupid. But we do have a European Assistant GM and he has shown in the past a bit of bias towards European players. You never know.

    Anyone who thinks Bosh is better then Scola is an idiot.

    Luis Scola is light years ahead of Bosh. He actually helps his team win with no Mc Grady and no Yao Ming. Mr Rupaul can learn somethign from he guy on how to lead a team. Most overrated player I have ever seen in the last 20 years.

      I love scola,
      Bosh is better, but at the price, I would rather have Scola. I would love to see the raps trade bosh, kapono and banks for scola and McGrady this summer. Next year would be a rebuilding year surrounding Bargnani, but come 2010 financial situation would be outstanding

      Rockets are out, and Skola can’t touch Bosh!! He’s alright, but Skola can’t even touch Bargnani…ps Houston is outa here!!

    Pay 133 million or pay 3 million a year for the same if not better play from Scola. The most underrated player in the League right now. And an actual winner.

    More noise coming out of Golden State and their targeting of Bosh in a trade that would involve Biedrens and several more players to match salaries. Azubuike and Belinelli would be interesting additions if the trade rules allow it.

    Keeping Bosh around for another season may be counter-productive and if he just walks the Ratpors are left with money and no takers. Then rebuilding would be inevitable and 5+ years in the wilderness too.
