personally IF i consider myself an “elite” player, having games like this (and the other, how many losses are we at now?) hung on my head, it wouldn’t sit very well and i would go out every game and if nothing else at least try and look like i belong with those “elite” players and by doing so give my team a chance to win.
and if bosh is that tempermental that fed up booing fans cause him to quit i think we should really be looking for a different “cornerstone” player to build around.
No question the fans are stupid with the pizza chants, but I don’t know if fans can affect how poorly Bosh has been playing lately.
Leafs fans have been called idiots for the opposite reasons; blindly cheering for a team that hasn’t amounted much. Yet the Leafs themselves appear to be unaffected by this “environment”. They have sucked for years and continue to do so.
While the pizza chants might be stupid, Raps fans are not the only guilty party. So you can’t use that as proof of our basketball ignorance.

You know who will show excitement and intensity? Players like Roko, Mensah-Bonsu, Graham.
You need to have a reason to bring the excitement, a sense of purpose. To those guys, they are either trying to prove themselves in this league, or are fighting for contracts. These are the types of guys that can bring it night in and night out when the team obviously won’t make the playoffs. For Bosh? He has nothing to light his fire. Other teams will want regardless of how poorly the Raps do.

I don’t mind Bargs playing over the summer. There’s always the risk of injury, but you could also injure yourself riding a moped, just ask Monta Ellis. I think it’ll help his game and he’s young enough and sturdy enough to take it.
Regarding Calderon…Does anyone realize that he was in a CONTRACT YEAR last year? That maybe he just played out of his mind and isn’t that good in first place.
