Yea I'm not sure what was going on in this game, a lot of questionable calls to say the least. Good ...fire trianothe only thing for what you can blame bargnani is for is lack of rebouinding... because on offense ...Delfino is a baller I'm happy with the players we got but he is a baller. If Colangelo wasn't so ...Matt -
Rap of the Day
Thank god my cable was out.
8 Raps
my feed is wonky on the international broadband, so i’m only seeing bits and pieces…but so far it ain’t pretty
speaking of pretty, has anybody ever decreased their ugly factor with a single haircut as much as adam morrison has
Robert Swift has done the inverted Morrison. Check that handsome stallion.
Wasn’t pretty until the end… we’re lucky to have squeaked out a win.
I don’t know if I’d call that luck Spuds. The defensive intensity picked up big time in the fourth quarter and Chris Bosh took charge. Andrea had some great defensive plays and clutch threes and even Moon came up with a key block. I’d say Will Solomon ran the point nicely in the fourth and put pressure on Felton so he couldn’t be a factor like he was in the first half.
Where was that intensity in first 3 quarters? Although not a squeaker, we should of pulled away earlier.
Nice to see us win the rebounds for once. Not quite the powerhouse.
Well we are 3 and 1 early on, on the road. All this without us playing, what I think, our best ball.
Interesting game …. If you think fast, you can play fast, but if you think slow you definitely cannot play fast.
In the second half the Raptors played up-tempo PHX-style and overwhelmed the Bobcats with our bigs going to the hole. That plus defending against the in-out at the arc. It took a lot of effort but it payed off as the Bobcats whithered all because they had no really big men in their backcourt.
This is how the Raptors must play to win, but can they sustain such an effort with such a short bench rotation? Solomon did okay as did Moon, but is this only a flash in the pan display? Mitchell will have to wind up the team and force them to think fast and crash the boards too.
The Raptors must learn to play an up-tempo style of game because slow deliberate half-court sets just won’t do it. Perhaps Mitchell will find a few more effective players sitting on the bench if he makes this change.
If Bosh continues this production, he will definitely be an All-Star starter.
I think they need to play Will Solomon more often, He’s tuff.
They won 3 straight games with Solomon, when he makes a mistake
they take him out, Jose Calderon gets at least5 turnovers a game
or more.
Will Solomon is the man, they better play him before another
team get him and he shines. It dosen’t matter how old you are
it matters how you play.
King Solomon, Toranto Raptors You are tuff, Tell your scientist looking
Coach to Play You More.
